What to Expect
When you visit XPERIA: Ocean Journey, you will have the opportunity to see the ocean like never before. With our technology, we are able to transport guests into the deep blue sea where you will be able to learn and interact with some of the creatures that live in the depths of the ocean. As you explore our exhibits, you will be met with a ton of wonderful hands-on activities, including gazing at a life-sized humpback whale in 3D, coming up next to a stealthy thresher shark, and even dancing alongside life-like sea lions! Our goal is to create an ocean experience that is fit for guests of all ages to learn more about the marine life that you don’t usually see.
Our Technology
In order to bring the ocean to life, we have invested in the latest state-of-the-art technology on the market. As an example, our visual effects are being created by the Oscar-winning VFX artists behind the creation of Game of Thrones, Wonder Woman, and Westworld. You will also interact with the amazing sea creatures inside our 40-foot curved 3D Dome Theater. Although the sights and sounds are created with visual and audio effects, you will feel as if you are under the sea with them! If you have ever dreamed of interacting with sea life, now is your chance!
Location and Opening
Our attraction in Sevierville TN is set to open in the spring of 2023, so now is the time to start planning your trip to be one of the first guests to experience life under the sea. Our one-of-a-kind, interactive attraction is going to be located at Tanger Outlets at Five Oaks in Sevierville. When you visit us, you will have the chance to explore the wonders of the sea before heading off into the Smokies to check out the wildlife that lives among the mountains.
